Affective Cognitive Training is a tool to aid in conversations about events that evoke different types of emotions. With the help of the images in the CAT-kit, one can define how these emotions are interpreted by the child, based on thoughts, emotions, and actions. This visual tool is used by educators and parents alike to understand how children with ASD interpret their experiences that lead to expressing different emotions, such as happiness, joy, humor, and also opposing emotions like sadness, anger, fear, shame, etc. This material comes with a manual and a folder with the images and is available in both printed and digital form.
